Portraits in block

All of my photographs here are Environmental portraits. Most of the time i just asked her to look at the camera or way, like in the fourth photograph i asked her to look at the writing at the wall and and we were talking about it so i could get her expression about it. Also the 1st and 2nd i asked her to place her hands in certain spots. although i do like when a person looks away from the camera i like how these came out. now i feel a little more comfortable giving direction and keeping my subject comfortable

  1. I think these photographs came out well. I like her expression in her face. My favorite photo is the first one, You get an erie feeling as if something is about to happen, and not being able to see her face makes it mysterious.

  2. They all look really dark and erie which I think worked well. ALl the pictures have a feel like she is doing some thing wrong and her expressions confirm that.

  3. i feel like the portrait of the girl sitting by the railroad tracks is a very strong portrait, its very nicely exposed and an interesting composition.
